Old Town Hall site earmarked for new theatre development

Leek Town Hall before it was demolished in 1988.

A NEW community theatre for Leek could be built on the site of the former Town Hall in Market Street - 20 years after it was demolished.

The site - now used as a car park - is one of two options being considered.

The other is to expand part of Moorlands House in Stockwell Street to accommodate the new theatre.
